Travel industry leader Flight Centre approached NetEngine to develop an international recruitment intranet for international staff. We began by utilising all of Flight Centre’s existing branding, followed by the development and integration of a job search plug in, allowing users to search the job listings database software (created using the Ruby On Rails framework).

Multiple country functionality was required and developed. We incorporated Flash sliding banners and an image map with links to the various countries’ sites. An in-house content management system was incorporated, to allow Flight Centre staff to update content and job listings.

Other features included advanced job search, featured jobs and tracking as well as log-ins for recruiters and jobseekers. The final result is a comprehensive, user-friendly internal system that has brought about new recruitment solutions for travel giant Flight Centre.
